Is there a way to make the web publish profile use a particular solution configuration?

Is there a way to make the web publish profile use a particular solution
configuration?

I use config transforms in VS2010, so I have different solution
configurations set up based on what environment I am publishing to. I also
have publish profiles set up so that I can deploy to different paths that
are also based on the environment I am publishing to.
When I select Release for the configuration and then publish, I have to
select the Release publish profile. What I'd really like is to be able to
select the Release configuration and have my publish profile map to that
automatically so that that relevant profile is already selected when the
publish dialog boxs pops up.
